Mahjong League event. Tuesday Mornings 9:00-11:30

Join us for our first Mahjong League — six weeks of friendly competition, consistent play, and a little extra excitement at the table!

This league is designed for players who are ready to commit to six weeks of Mahjong and compete for points throughout the season.

League Details

  • 6-week commitment
  • Tuesdays, 9:00–11:30 AM beginning 10/6
  • $50 per player
  • 4 games played each week
  • Random table assignments each week
  • Individual scores tracked throughout the full six-week league
  • Prizes awarded to the top two overall players

Each week, players will arrive, draw for table assignments, and play four games of American Mahjong. Once your four games are complete, you are free to head out. We are allowing the full 9:00–11:30 AM window so there is plenty of time if games run longer.

Points will be awarded based on Mahjong wins, with additional point values for special wins such as self-picks, Jokerless hands, and other qualifying achievements. Scores will accumulate throughout all six weeks, and the players with the highest overall totals at the end of the league will win our season prizes!

This league is beginner-friendly and open to newer players who are comfortable playing independently. There will be no instructional guidance or gameplay assistance during league play, so participants should be able to sit down, follow the card, make decisions on their own, and keep the game moving at a reasonable pace. You do not need to be an advanced player, but you should be comfortable completing a full game without ongoing help or coaching.

Because this is a league format, we ask that you register only if you are able to commit to attending each week. We will also maintain a small list of approved substitute players. If something comes up and you are unable to attend, you will be responsible for reaching out to a substitute to fill your spot.

Come ready to play, compete, meet new players, and see who finishes at the top of the leaderboard!

Space will be limited.
