Learn the Basics of American Mahjong

Curious about Mahjong? Join us for a fun and welcoming introduction to the game that’s bringing women together across the country!

This three-hour beginner-friendly class includes hands-on instruction designed for players with absolutely no prior experience. You’ll learn tile recognition, setup, the Charleston, game play, basic strategy, and Mahjong etiquette in a relaxed, supportive environment.

A 2026 National Mahjong League card is required for this class. If you do not already have one, you may purchase a card as an add-on when registering for your ticket. If you already have your 2026 National Mahjong League card, please bring it with you to the lesson.

Your registration includes:

• A 3-hour guided Mahjong lesson

• A Mahjong 101 Handbook to take home for continued practice

• Hands-on game play with instructor guidance

• Prizes, giveaways, and plenty of fun!

Whether you’re looking to learn a new hobby, meet new friends, or join the growing Mahjong community, this class is the perfect place to start.

No experience necessary, just bring yourself and get ready to learn, play, and connect!

The class takes a full 3 hours so please be on time.  4:00-7:00pm on 9/13

Only those registered for the class may attend the class

The class will begin promptly at 4:00 please plan to arrive 15 minutes early 

A KIND REQUEST: Please only register if you're confident you can attend. Since Mahjong is played with four players per table, last-minute cancellations can create uneven tables and affect the experience for everyone. Thank you for understanding that registrations are non-refundable.
